The Name

A word that carries a world inside it.

In the literature of science fiction, the novum is the new thing — the single element that makes a fictional world different from our own. The time machine. The sentient machine. The society that dared to reimagine itself. Every great science fiction story is built around its novum.

We chose this name deliberately. Novum is a private members club built around a belief: that the most interesting people in any city are the ones who have been imagining new worlds their entire lives — and who are now building them.

They were raised on science fiction. They play tabletop games. They think in systems and stories simultaneously. And they have been waiting, without knowing it, for a place like this to exist.

The Entrance

There is no sign on the door.

Novum has no street presence, no directory listing, and no public entrance. Arriving for the first time is itself an experience — one that signals, before a word is spoken, that you have arrived somewhere genuinely different.

Membership is by invitation and application. We are not looking for a résumé. We are looking for a certain kind of mind — and a genuine desire to be part of something being built from the ground up.
